# How Do I Get Access When My School/Employer Pays?

### Automatic Access

If your school or employer pays for your access subscription or you participate in an Inclusive Access program, you should automatically receive access to your ExPrep account when you join the appropriate class. 

After connecting to your course, you will automatically see the exams/assignments tab in the left-hand menu.

⚠️If your school has an Inclusive Access Program, but you opted out of it, then you will be required to [purchase your subscription](https://support.excelpreparation.com/knowledge/how-do-i-purchase-my-subscription?hsLang=en) the ExPrep platform individually. 

⚠️If you do not have that option, please reach out to the ExPrep team sharing your name, school, email address, and a brief explanation of the situation and we will help you get it resolved. 

### Manually Apply Access Code

If you were given an access code from your professor, a bookstore, or via email, follow the steps below to apply the access code:

1\. Log into the ExPrep Portal, either directly or via your LMS.

2\. In the top right corner, either click the blue "Apply Code" button or click your name, then click "Apply Access Code"

3\. In the pop-up window, paste the access code you were given

4\. Once you apply the access code, you should no longer see the "Buy Now" dialog, and you can click on the Exams/Assignments tab on the left side of the screen to access your assignments:
