Creating your account will look slightly different depending on whether or not your institution has integrated the ExPrep Platform into its LMS (Learning Management System) such as Canvas or Blackboard.
Creating Account With LMS Integration
If your institution has LMS integration, then you will create your account by using the link provided inside of your instructor's course. The instructor should provide a link to the ExPrep Portal. It is important that you use this link to complete your initial account setup (or initial linking to a new class if you are signing up for more than one class), so that the two platforms can be paired together. This is going to create a Single Sign On (SSO) relationship so that you will be automatically logged into the ExPrep Platform when you access your assignments via your LMS.
⚠️ It is important that you do NOT use a link to an assignment the very first time you make the connection between ExPrep and your LMS.
Creating Account Without LMS Integration
If your institution does not have an LMS integration, then you will create your account directly from the website.
- Visit the ExPrep website
- Select "create account" if you are still at the login page
- Fill out your relevant information
- We recommend using your school email address. Be sure to double check the email address as you will need to access it to get your verification code.
- Enter your "Course Code", which should have been provided by your instructor
- If you do not have the course code, please review the materials that they have provided regarding ExPrep. If you still can't locate the course code, please reach out to your instructor directly.
