How Do I Update My Account Email Address or Name?

To update your account email address:

  • Log into your ExPrep portalExPrep portal highlighting 1. selecting name drop down from upper right hand menu 2. Settings.
  • ➡️  Name from the upper righthand corner
  • ➡️ Settings
  • ➡️ Edit (next to Contact Information)

  • Update Email Address and/or user name

  • ➡️ Save

⚠️ If you are asked for a external user id, this is an idea that is generated from your LMS platform. Typically it will be the portion of your email address before the @. For example, if your email is tng322@school.edu, your external ID will be tng322. If you do not use ExPrep inside of your LMS system, you can ignore the external ID requirement. 

Account information where name fields are being changed.

💡If an account already exists under the new email address you are trying to use, the system won't allow the update. Instead, you will need to submit a request to have the two accounts merged together.
