Q: Do my students need to create an ExPrep Account?
No, when your students click on an assignment link within your LMS an account will be created for them using their LMS credentials. From that point forward, each time they click on an assignment, they will automatically be signed in.
Q: Do I need to leave an ExPrep Login module on my course for my students to get connected to the new ExPrep course?
No, students will simply click on assignment links to access the materials.
Q: ExPrep grades all assignments out of 100, can I change an assignment to be worth a different number of points?
Yes, after your assignments are synced, navigate into the LMS grade book. You can edit the points associated with that assignment. When an assignment is graded it will apply the % earned to the points listed in the LMS grade book.
Q: Can I move assignments out of the ExPrep assignments module?
Yes, after assignments have been synced you can move them into new modules to better align with your course organization.
Q: Can I add new assignments later?
Yes, when you add new assignments to your ExPrep class, you will just need to complete the “sync assignments” process again.
Q: Do I need to sync my assignments after I make a change to assignment settings in ExPrep?
If you make changes to the date settings or grade display settings, you will need to sync the changes. To do so, select Sync Assignments, identify the assignment and the type of change to be synced and then select Update LMS.
Q: I don’t see the due date on the ExPrep assignments that I synced, can I add one?
Yes, if you would like to add a due date to the assignments in the LMS so that the course schedule is updated accordingly, you are welcome to do so.
