What's New?

We've updated the beta version of the new View Submissions Page.

1. We have improved our search functionality and the search now returns any name that contains a character, rather than being an exact match.

 

2. You can now also filter assignments by name, grade, or submission date.

By default, the view is sorted by student name in descending order. 

To change your view, click the column headers:

3. To expand your view of multiple students' submissions, click the drop down arrows beside their name. You can then sort these submissions by grade or submitted date.

Release 9.2.1 - September 24, 2024

What's New?

We've released a beta version of the new View Submissions Page, including the ability to push manual updates of grades to your LMS.

Here are the new settings you will see:

  1. Exam Details. Here you will find the exam details including how many students have submitted. 
  2. Student Submissions. You will now see only one submission for each student. Their additional attempts will be collapsed below their names.
  3. Expand Student Attempts. Selecting the arrow to the right of a student's row will expand to reveal all their submissions. 
  4. Select Student Submission. There is a check box next to each student's row to select to use with the "Bulk Actions". Alternatively, you can use the check box next to the assignment name to select all students at once. 
  5. LMS Sync Indicators. An indicator next to the assignment grade will indicate if that grade has been successfully synced (green check) to the LMS or not (red circle). 
    (only relevant to clients utilizing LTI)
  6. Bulk Actions Menu. This button will allow you to bulk push the grades that you have selected to the LMS. 
    (only relevant to clients utilizing LTI)

 

To Manually Push Grades:

1. Select the students whose grades you would like to update, or select the box beside the exam title to select all the students

2. Go to Bulk Actions 

3. Click Send Grades to LMS

3. You will receive an update email telling you the sync status of this assignment.

⚠️ We recommend using the "allowed attempts" on ExPrep to limit student submissions, rather than using the settings on Canvas or Blackboard. If you "Send Grades to LMS" but the student has used up all the available attempts in your LMS, the grades will not sync properly.

💡A check mark will be displayed by the grade that is synced to your LMS. An error symbol (🚫) means that the grade did not sync and must be transferred manually. Reasons why an assignment might not sync are primarily due to limitations set by your campus LMS administrators.
